Double musical event on July 17, 2015 at the Roman Theatre of Volterra under XIII Festival with two shows.
The first, in the afternoon, saw the great Brass Ensemble 5/4 Brass performing in a concert by the varied programme and composite, operatic music also, adapted for the original group of musicians, formed by Rinaldo Gallegos, Alessio the foliage (trumpets); Nadia Rossi (Horn); Alexander Brignoli (Trombone); Mauro C (Tuba).
The late evening had instead as protagonists "Sorelle Marinetti", the significant surname "Futurist", in an entertaining spectacle between concert and entertainment.
“Is not just a concert, but a real piece of musical theater, which offers the viewer a time travel back to the years ' 30. Years of great concern, for the approaching the horizon of black clouds, but also years of feeling like escape and thoughtlessness that, thanks to the stable of authors, singers and conductors of Eiar (Italian Radio Hearings, from which body, like Phoenix, was born the RAI) produced a repertoire of songs that still bring good mood.
And to think in ' 25 Mussolini said, "this radio will never work!".
Interpreters of this trip are the SORELLE MARINETTI, a trio of "very special" girls, who, fascinated by the human and artistic experience of Trio Lescano, descend as three young ladies of the years ' 30 to tell with tasty sketch the society of the time and to interpret the greatest hits of those years in perfect falsetto and "harmonised singing."
The sisters are TURBINE MARINETTI (Oatway, 44 years, actor and opera singer), MERCURIA MARINETTI (Mike Abbas, actor, singer and choreographer – choreographs the show) and SPARK MARINETTI (Marco Lugli, singer and actor, graduated at the Filodrammatici).
In March of 2008 debuted at the Teatro CIAK, Milan with Giorgio Bozzo lyrics and direction by Max Croci. On stage, to accompany the sisters, farriers, orchestra conducted by Christian Schmitz. The debut includes nearly 1,700 people with huge critical acclaim. Since then the Sorelle Marinetti are touring constantly in the major Italian theaters and participated in prestigious festivals and events.

You have to give credit to the creators and protagonists not only in taste with which they were created, even temperamentally the three characters "in disguise", but also of historical and philological care with which they were treated songs that marked an era, by the great Maestro. Christian Schmitz who also accompanied the "sisters" at the keyboard.
Harmonized singing of the three protagonists, modern son of polyphony, it is extremely difficult, since the issue is not only "head", but especially in a falsetto from contraltists. Unlikely the acute, which is resolved with grace and skill. The blending is admirable.
The characteristic, with Mike Abbas which occurs in the part of Mercuria, have also drawn deftly choreographic repertoire, especially American, ranging from Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers and Gene Kelly, to arrive at the foothills of Dick Van Dyke with his Mary Poppins.
Everything mentioned, light, delicate but this, in a show more cultured than it may seem at first sight, and especially enjoyable for everyone.
