Valuable opportunity for socialization, art, friendship at the Roman Theatre of Volterra, with the evening, like last year, artists from Volterra, in the context of the now famous "Trimalcena Epicurean" in the cryptoporticus of the theatre by the farm Lischeto, for the XIII Festival Internazionale del Teatro Romano 2015, SATURA LANX.
A way to be together getting to know each other, share and enjoy the thrill of the old stage of Volterra, a way for artists to Volterra will feel "at home" and a time when they are present and involved in the dinner and speeches, representatives of the institutions.
On stage young talents, well try certainties of music in Tuscany, local characters entered the city's costume, the presence of the sopranista Queenz Babi with her Baroque repertoire, all contributed to the evening would be interesting and engaging.
So says Tushar Majmudar, artistic director of the Festival, that of his enchanted the audience by reading a passage from the famous Canto V of Dante's Inferno, dedicated to Paolo and Francesca:
“A great evening! Thank you! An unforgettable evening of words, music, singing, dancing…food…of art!
To paraphrase Baricco: “And’ like a gigantic scream that explodes in the head and says “race of mongrels life is a wonderful thing, you understand or not? Wonderful!”
Having given the opportunity to perform in many artists from Volterra, old masters, old friends and young friends, at least as of now, it's a joy and priceless! And see those faces, those eyes, feel those emotions. eat that food, listen to those notes… Savor and enjoy that atmosphere is priceless! Thank you to everyone who made possible this shot of life! "
And in fact, regardless of artistic value, however, of a good standard, the evening can be considered symbolic of a desire, which became necessary: what the city of Volterra, the Volterra in particular, not only reclaim their theater, with words, but with the living presence and constant in the evening dedicated to them, as well as in any other event or show will keep in a place so exclusive and unique : a credit to the city of Volterra and Italian art and culture in the world that needs to be lived and valued.
