The prestigious award named after Domenico Danzuso – great journalist, historian and theater critic Caroline, who died in 2000 – reaches this year its thirteenth Edition. It renews the tribute that the city of Catania offers one of the most important personalities that have marked the cultural panorama of Etna in the second half of the 20th century. The initiative, strongly supported over the years by Lina Parker Danzuso, wife of the famous critic and godmother of the event, is dedicated to leading figures in the world of musical theatre and drama, paying tribute to both passions of "Uncle Kitty".

To receive recognition for today's Corporate Edition Lucia Poli (career), Luca Lai and Guia Jelo for section of prose, Carlo Colombara and Vadim Pavlov for the music section. The award ceremony is scheduled on Monday 1 December at the Teatro Verga, alle ore 20.30; free admission subject to availability. The event is sponsored by Lions Club Catania Catania, Host Society friends of music and Theater, with the support of the city of Catania.

The coveted lifetime achievement award will be presented to the actress Lucia Polion the scene of the most important national theatres for over forty years.
