In Busseto the Centenary of. was officially inaugurated Carlo Bergonzi, the Verdi tenor par excellence of the 20th century. An unforgettable evening, which opened with video greetings from Juan Diego Florez and which took place under the paternal wing of Vittorio Testa.

Several videos showed the art of Bergonzi, many others highlighted his humanity, in genuinely touching moments that visibly moved the entire audience.

Anna Maria Chiuri, Silvia Dalla Benetta, Serena Gamberoni, Francesco Meli, Leo Nucci, Michele Pertusi and Desiree Rancatore, accompanied on the piano by the very talented Vincent Scalera, offered themselves in the performance of arias and duets, bringing everyone to the stage, in an excellent manner, the greatest lesson in Carlo Bergonzi: phrasing and scenic speech.

Artists with important and solid careers for the salute to a Maestro who made the history of opera singing.
