Lettura e teatro tra Dante e Arrabal a Volterra

Double date on July 30, 2015 for the XIII Festival internazionale del teatro romano di Volterra.

In the afternoon, in the elegant foyer of the Teatro Persio Flacco, the 750th anniversary of the birth of Dante Alighieri, probably occurred, according to studies, in territory of Volterra, there was a scholarly Conference of Letizia prof.ssa Piochi, accompanied by a fine Lectura Dantis.

Tushar Majmudar read part of V and the 26TH canto of the Inferno, which is the celebrated verses dedicated to Paolo and Francesca and Ulysses.

The title that defined the Lectura Dantis was "love and knowledge: streets of perfection or ways of perdition?" and provided an analysis of Dante's text. Very interesting topic, indeed, Professor Paquette treated not only analyzing to towards the text already read from the Migliorini, but enriching the prose version and its explanation of the notations of thick-philosophical and historical research and literary criticism and syntax. All so exhaustive as to keep attendees chairs nailed for about three hours, in a digression so intense and detailed that the same rapporteur, could have foreseen an unlimited '.

Second round, at the same site of the teatro Persio Flacco, but this time in the beautiful neoclassical room, with previously unreleased monologue by Fernando Arrabal: "Sotto le stelle nothing dies", entrusted the interpretation by Moretti.

Fernando Arrabal, present in Volterra even for a few days, you will be awarded 1 day August with the "Franco Cristaldi" Ombra della sera at the cinema and theater, during the award ceremony scheduled at the Roman Theatre and the awards ceremony and the presence of illustrious personalities of theatre, cinema and culture.
