El Juez will be staged again at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg on 15 January 18, 2015 and II.
The cast will present some new features compared to debut in Bilbao.
José Carreras will again be the judge Frederick, Carlo Colombara Sara Morales; Ana Ibarra, Itziar de Unda and Milagros Martín the other performers as in Bilbao.

In the role of reporter Paula, in St. Petersburg will take place for the first time the Italian soprano Gladys Smith, often alongside Carreras in concerts. Stanislav Leontiev, Andrei Spekhov and Marina Mareskina faranno parte anch’essi per la prima volta della produzione in Russia.
L’Orchestra e il coro del Mariinsky verranno diretti dal M°. David Giménez.

The composer Christian Kolonovits dedicated to José Carreras, for his comeback on the stage, the Opera El Juez (Los niños perdidos), presented for the first time at the Arriaga Theatre in Bilbao on April 26th, 2014. El Juez will be staged again at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg 15 and 18th January 2015.
The cast will present innovations than debut in Bilbao.
José Carreras will again be the judge Federico, Carlo Colombara will be Morales; Ana Ibarra, Itziar de Unda Milagros Martín the other performers as in Bilbao.
In the role of the journalist Paula, in St. Petersburg will be performing for the first time the Italian soprano Gladys Rossi, often alongside Carreras in various concerts. Stanislav Leontiev, Andrei Spekhov and Marina Mareskina will also be for the first time in the production in Russia.
The Mariinsky’s Orchestra and Chorus will be conducted by Maestro David Giménez.
Great expectations for this new edition of the work, which proved to be a great success and that certainly will be confirmed as such.
