Once upon a time (and still today) many readers "lazy", for which willing publishers made "selections" of famous literary works, to avoid eye strain and especially at the synapses of affluent subscribers…There are still these "summaries", defined now "spirits"…But the original literary work has never received full justice for those transactions?
