Approaching contemporary dance is not a usual nor immediate and easy operation for the spectator without particular experience in the subject. The detachment of the so-called "modern dance" from classical ballet has so far seen the most varied and changing forms and expressions and, therefore, can take it by surprise. All this was immediately evident when viewing the “Ecstasy Trilogy” with choreography by Roberto Zappalà, on stage October 6, 2024 al Massimo “Bellini” Theater in Catania, as a "resumption" show, in its second part, of the Opera and Ballet Season 2023-'24 of the Etna theater.
