PAN…crazio: the "polyphonic recitation" by Simone Migliorini

Review by Natalia Di Bartolo © dibartolocritic

Polyphony is an ancient art, deeply rooted in tradition. And’ a difficult art, but mostly they practice in groups, as the term itself reveals. This is Canto and the singing does not require, in such an expression, always an instrumental accompaniment. Indeed, the polyphony a cappella is perhaps the most fascinating and evocative.

So it's a rare case to be able to hear a polyphony or sung or accompanied. Imagine a chorus of people that speak and emit sounds in coordination. Very interesting, as an experiment, certainly unusual, but that probably has already experienced, if only in the studio.

More unique than rare, instead, you hear a polyphony produced by one individual, whose expressive means only your voice. And’ a great test and certainly also the text should be given a performance like that. Well: when voice and text meet, and strikes a spark "acting polyphonic" Which one monologue.

The actor and Director volterrano occurred in an interpretation quite virtuosic. An evening that has proved to be a great Theatre schoolin a sort of evocative contrast between vocal experiments Carmelo Bene and the naturalness of Aaron, whose Migliorini was a student.

Simone Migliorini gave voice to the protagonist, but also to other characters who animate the text of Daddariothe result certainly a dramatic moment of grace and how it molded on the ability of the actor and Director.13709654_10207074184839290_1194448265_o

Tra la narrazione e l’introspezione, the monologue "Pan…crazio ", history of Faun Pan in Greek mythology, memory, was taken as an authoritative point to break into the depths of the human soul. The text of the D It's bold and delves shamelessly and without filters the darkest sides of the mind. In doing so he allowed the interpreter to make cropping up that ancestral force made of uncontrolled impulses, sex, violence and blood of deep pain of living that so permeates his concept of art and theatrical expression.

Simone Migliorini owns a precious gift: that of’empathy with the audience. His pace in acting, outline the different characters, the moods of each character's violence, dark moments Pan, a metaphor for the pain of being and living of man and "different", as well as the moments of melancholy, the narrative clear, the modulation of the media high school about make one of the leading interpreters of Italian theatre now. The audience appeared absorbed, almost hypnotized, the audience plunged into an eerie silence.

A much evidence of actor; the demonstration of the art of acting, of breath, song intended as art of spoken voice is still alive and how important it is to not let it go unnoticed and give her later with a school. A desirable ' of an art of the emission, the diction, the expression, the capacity for empathy, self-control and physical and psychological means of grip on the public.
