Exactly 416 years ago, june 6th 1599, the great painter Diego Velàzquez was born in Seville. He died in Madrid in 1660 and was one of the greatest artists of the History of Art.

The sensual and realistic peinture ‘The Toilet of Venus’ is the only surviving example of a female nude by this great painter, exibited in London, National Gallery.
