Wife of Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette remains one of the most famous Queens of France. By his light and thoughtless, behavior by his indifference to the suffering of the people, it aroused hatred and has constantly fueled it. Counter-revolutionary convinced, she only gave nothing to the insurgents, with a strength and courage that it did not suspect him. That the people called “the Austrian” or “Madame Deficit” seems having itself traced his way to the scaffold.
